Laura Lee Gayfield - Administrative Assistant

New Zion’s new church secretary, Laura Lee, as she prefers to be called, is a resident of Lancaster, Ohio where she attends the First Presbyterian Church and participates in the bell choir. She also leads spin classes at Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.

Laura Lee was a long-time insurance professional before moving to California. There she became the office manager for the Auburn Presbyterian Church just as they were losing their pastor. In the absence of a pastor, she became responsible for the daily operations of the church.

Two years ago she returned with her husband, Steve, to Lancaster when he became the Director of Parks and Recreation for Lancaster. She is pleased that this allows them to be near their son who is a second-year resident at OSU Hospitals.

Laura Lee believes that God matched our need with her skills at the right time, and we couldn’t agree more.
