New Zion Women in Faith

The New Zion Women in Faith met on September 12th, with Denise Hartley serving as hostess. She provided tuna croissants, vegetable salad, trays of fruits, candies, and cookies along with drinks. 

Peggy Wippel led the program titled, “When It Is Best Not To Open Your Mouth.” She gave everyone a take home list of twenty answers. During the program members participated by reading the information aloud. An example answer would be: In the heat of anger. “People with a hot temper do foolish things; wiser people remain calm.” (Proverbs 14:17)

A small group is working to revise what was formerly the Reading Program. Several books are currently available on the bookshelves in the Sunrise Room. Watch for more details later. 

Plans were finalized for Women in Faith Mission Sunday on September 22nd. We look forward to hearing the Selway Family tell of their ministry through Cru on the Ohio University Campus. 

Women baking cakes for the Senior Meal on September 25th are Ann, Tammy, Peggy, and Terryann. 

Join us for the next meeting on October 10th at 3:00 PM in the Sunrise Room. Rhonda will lead the program and Peggy will be hostess.
